What is POWERSHIFT?
POWERSHIFT is an anime-style PvP brawler world on VRChat, made by 悪魔 Akuma · CYBRGDS. You fight as your own avatar in the Arena Aurea: dash in, knock rivals back and land your ULTIMATE in freeze-frame on the big screen.

Is POWERSHIFT free? How do I start playing?
Yes: all you need is VRChat, which is free. Open the POWERSHIFT world in VRChat, or find it through the VRChat group CYBRGD.0518, set up your loadout and pick a mode.

Which platforms can I play on?
PC Desktop, PC VR, Quest, Android and iOS. Everyone plays together in the same arena, fully synced.

Do I need a special avatar?
No. There are no preset characters: you fight as your own avatar. Powers are styles and kits (blade, fists, energy and more), so your look stays yours.

What game modes are there?
Four: PvP, with duels and team fights; Waves PvE, 10 waves for 1 to 5 players; Champion Challenge, one giant champion against up to 5 challengers; and Ranked, with 7 leagues to climb every season.

How many weapons, skills and auras are there?
80 weapons, 66 skills and 31 auras. A loadout has 4 skill slots with at most 1 ULTIMATE, and you can save up to 5 presets.

Which bosses are in POWERSHIFT?
8 bosses: Wyvern, Red Wyvern, Crystal Elf, Elf Queen, Aurea Colossus, Shadow Ronin, Seraph-0, and Amethyst Hydra. Each one has a player guide on this site, with how to meet it, the attacks to know and a build to start from.

When does the Ultra Boss (Amethyst Hydra) appear?
Every day at 04:00, 15:00, and 22:00 (Italian time). The whole lobby is warned 5 minutes before, and the Hydra stays available for 10 minutes: join from the main menu and fight it together. The countdown on the home page shows the times in your own time zone.

What are coins and gems for?
They are the two currencies of POWERSHIFT, earned by playing: Waves PvE, for example, gives coins, gems and XP, and logging in every day and completing daily missions earn rewards too. Gems also unlock exclusive weapons and the season pass.

What is the Halloween Pass?
The current season pass: 100 levels of rewards, unlocked with 200 gems, until November 16, 2026 (Italian time). Its levels give 49,980 coins and 80 gems in all, plus 10 top rewards: weapons, skills, an aura and a badge.

How do I get on the global leaderboard?
Play: the world sends your stats (level, XP, wins, matches, minutes played and coins) when you are good enough for a top 10. It needs VRChat’s “Allow Untrusted URLs” setting on, for you or for another player in the same instance. The four boards - level, wins, time and coins - update every 15 minutes, in the world and on this site.

Can I leave the leaderboard?
Yes. In the world, set MY HUB → SETTINGS → GLOBAL LEADERBOARD to OFF: you disappear from the boards within 15 minutes, and your stats are deleted from our server. Turning it back on puts you back on the boards.

Which languages does POWERSHIFT speak?
The game is in English, Japanese, Italian, German, French, and Chinese, and so is this site.

Where can I follow the updates and report problems?
Every update is in the patch notes on this site, straight from the official Discord. On Discord you can also report a problem: a Game Master watches over the arena and can penalize unfair behavior.
